So, let me get this straight. As we close in on the first twelve months of the Obama administration, I’ll point out that fewer Americans have died in terrorist attacks on American opposed to the 3000+ Americans who died under the “steady leadership” of George W. Bush during his first twelve months. Yet, despite this far superior record by the Obama administration regarding terrorist issues, Congressman Pete Hoekstra (R-MI)- in an attempt to assert his douchiness to win the tea-bagger votes as he runs for Governor of Michigan- goes on Fox News less than 48 hours after the terrorist attempt by a Nigerian man aboard a Detroit-bound plane was foiled to blame the Obama administration.

Yes, that’s correct. The Republicans are attempting blame an unsuccessful terrorist attack on President Obama. (Remember when criticizing the President gave comfort to our nation’s enemies? I guess it’s okay when our President’s skin tone is darker.) Besides the fact that Rep. Hoekstra proves himself an uber-mensch, he also has a really pathetic record when it comes to national security matters.

Oh, and the US visa given to the would-be Nigerian terrorist? Given to him by the George W. Bush administration who- somehow- avoided any criticism from Rep. Hoekstra. Yeah, I know, I’m thinking the same thing: What an incredibly pathetic display made by Rep. Hoekstra on Fox. Yet utterly expected as well.
